William Butler Yeats last request was for people not to believe too much about of the hype surrounding him and that no one should stop at his grave. Tommy always thought it funny that Sligo County Councils reaction to this was to put signposts at every cross road in the vicinity directing busloads of tourists towards it!

One of the hardest counties in the country to define and one of the easiest to be blown away by, Tommy is delighted to be back for his second World Tour.

Tommy’s mastery of stand-up allows him to take risks other comedians dare not. Through hilarious storytelling and a high energy, non- apologetic delivery he continually challenges his audience who can be confident they are in safe hands. To see Tiernan live is a rare treat, as his stories unfold and themes are elaborated his performance mesmerises as his lyrical way with words make you laugh harder than you’d ever believe possible.

Tommy Tiernan’s brand new DVD “Crooked Man” has been receiving rave reviews from the critics see below some of the highlights:

“If there's a more beautiful stand-up DVD out there, we've yet to see it. . It's also refreshing to see a comic put some love into their live DVD, rather than simply churning out another Christmas cash-in. It's beautifully shot and the Irish comic is on spectacularly funny form." – Time Out London

“The best of this bunch is Storyteller Tommy Tiernan’s Crooked Man, There’s unlikely to be a more compelling stand-up out there today, with this show giving us all the sides of Tiernan from the hushed conspirator to the firebrand preacher, riffing on childhood, family and a little bit of politics. Pure genius, so it Is “ (●●●●●) The List

“The DVD feels wonderfully intimate, capturing the mischievous atmosphere the Navan native effortlessly conjures as he muses on marriage religion and turning 40, judging by Crooked Man, growing old disgracefully suits Tiernan perfectly” – Hot Press
