Aiken Promotions & Lisa Richards are proud to present...

JARLATH REGAN'S NEW COMEDY SHOWjarlathregan-web.jpg

 "Not So Common Sense" -

The Sugar Club - April 16th

"I thought Jeremy Paxman was going to punch me."

Tickets €15 on sale this Friday Feb 12th @ 9am!

Following two consecutive years of sell-out shows, a milky way of stars and a mantelpiece of awards, Jarlath Regan is back again to present another stand-up comedy hour of original jokes, stories and illustrations about modern life sure to leave you beaming or your money back.  Some of the stuff Jar has learned in his 30 years is useful.  Some of it is not.  But don't worry! It's all funny.  In 2007 his show was called "the perfect after lunch laugh" by The Fringe Report.  In 2008, the Metro said "he caused near hysteria in the room" while Chortle described it as "the perfect tea time show".

Here's what the Press Have Said About His Most Recent Show (2009):

"One of the future big names of the Festival... more laughs in the first ten minutes than some comedians have in their whole set."

(**** Hairline)

"Sharp observational humour."

(****One4review)

"An intricate set that had the crowd thoroughly engaged at all times; his material was excellent...and his stage presence was even better. The whole performance deservedly merited high praise indeed."

(****Threeweeks)

"Comedy delivered in flawless fashion by a supremely confident performer... sure to put a smile on the stoniest face.

(****Fringe Report)

"An unstoppable, relentless, never ending flow of fantastic tales and over the top mind blowing observations"

(*****DB MAGAZINE Australia)

Regan's tour of Australia as part of the "Best of The Edinburgh Festival" gala show culminated in a sell-out run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival along side the likes of Des Bishop, Jason Byrne, Neil Delemare and Dylan Moran.  Television audiences will recognise him from his appearances The Apprentice "You're Fired", The Panel and more.

Irish audiences will have their first chance to see his new stand-up comedy show "Not So Common Sense" at The Sugar Club on April 16th.  Tickets are available from ticketmaster for the very reasonable price of €15.  A host of surprise special guests who will also perform on the night have yet to be announced.
