The Choice Music Prize will be live @ Vicar St. this March 4th. Tickets are €27 on sale now through Ticketmaster and other usual outlets nationwide. Booking Line: 0818 719 390.

The Choice Music Prize Live Event takes place on Wednesday 4 March in Vicar Street, Dublin. The event will be also be presented as a special live broadcast on Today FM nationwide.

The line-up of shortlisted artists playing live at the event is:

Three of the shortlisted artists (Lisa Hannigan, Oppenheimer and The Script) have prior touring commitments and David Holmes does not play live shows.
 
The final complement of tickets for the event are now on sale from Ticketmaster and all usual outlets price €27 inc booking fee (the same price as for the previous two years!).
 
The shortlist has been selected by a panel of 12 Irish music media professionals representing print, radio, online and TV. The full list of judges is as follows:

While the judging panel are locked away in a sound-proofed and sealed room making their decision about who wins the Choice Music Prize, the audience will enjoy live performances along with special video footage (courtesy of Muzu.TV) of all the Shortlisted acts.

The climax of the evening will come with the announcement of the winner of the Choice Music Prize. The winning act will receive a cheque for €10,000 (courtesy of IMRO and IRMA) and a special commemorative Trophy (courtesy of RAAP).
