Smoother than Darren Clarke's swing, as ferocious as a dig from Ryan McMenamin,more complicated than a Dennis Taylor trick shot, but not quite as pretty as a girl from Omagh, the peerless comedy warrior Tommy Tiernan heads for the 'Land Of Eoghan' for a series of barnstorming gigs in March.  It will be a spiritual homecoming of sorts for Tommy as Tyrone is the birthplace of his muse, the great Flann O Brien and home to C+W legends, Philomena Begely and Hugo Duncan, giants in a genre of music he has recently taken to his huge heart.

Thought provoking, engaging,at times angst ridden, no other comic comes close to Tiernan in terms of wringing comedy out of the mundane and ordinary and the joy generated from the knowledge that his shows are a unique and shared experience, make him a must see act.Tommy will not be Sperrin (groan!) anything on stage.
